There are days when everything irritates you. Your head hurts, the temperature feels off, your nose is congested, your muscles ache, and your chin is covered with some strange rash or is it acne? It gets even worse when all of this happens to a child.
Is this some sort of universal conspiracy? Not at all. It's just time to call a doctor to your home and let specialists take care of the sick body. The dispatcher at "Doctor D" clinic will quickly and absolutely free help you figure out what kind of assistance you need: emergency (the doctor will arrive within 1-2 hours), regular (the doctor arrives within 4-6 hours), or urgent (the condition threatens life and requires immediate hospitalization). You can also call a nurse along with the therapist (or pediatrician in case of a child's illness).
### When to call a doctor to your home:
- Headaches, heart pain, muscle and joint pain;
- Cough, runny nose;
- High temperature, chills;
- Loss of appetite, weakness;
- Unexplained rashes;
- Complications after vaccination.
> If the doctor is not needed urgently, book a visit for the evening or the morning of the next day. Unlike municipal clinics, where the appointment time is limited to 15 minutes, the doctors at the "Doctor D" clinic spend as much time as needed with the patient, but at least 30 minutes.
**Together with the therapist (or pediatrician), a nurse may come:**
- They will examine the problem areas;
- Listen to the heart and lungs, measure blood pressure and temperature, perform an ECG;
- The doctor, if necessary, will refer you for additional testing;
- Provide further instructions and write a prescription;
- Issue a sick leave, school or kindergarten certificate;
- The nurse will take samples at home, administer an injection, or set up an IV;
- Provide care and nutrition recommendations;
- In case of acute need, the doctor will call for an ambulance and organize hospitalization.
The doctor who arrives at your call will document all information in the electronic medical record. If you have lost prescriptions, mixed up instructions, or have new questions, feel free to call our clinic. The on-duty doctor will duplicate all the information for you and answer any questions. Two to three days after the call, your doctor will call you to check how the recovery process is going and if any further assistance is needed.
